Trevor Noah Adds Another Date at The Kennedy Center This Fall

The Kennedy Center announced today a new 10:30 p.m. performance by comedian Trevor Noah on Friday, October 7, 2016 in addition the previously-announced 8 p.m. show on the same date. Noah makes his debut in the Concert Hall, as part Comedy at the Kennedy Center.

Tickets start at $55 and go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. today Thursday, August 25, 2016. Tickets will be available for purchase in person at the Kennedy Center Box Office, by calling InstantCharge at (202) 467-4600, and through the Kennedy Center website at www.kennedy-center.org.

South African comedian, television and radio host, and actor Trevor Noah is the host of the popular satire news program, The Daily Show, which he took over after Jon Stewart retired in 2015. He debuted in the U.S. on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has also appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, becoming the first South African stand-up comedian to appear on either late night show. In addition to his work on television, Noah frequently performs stand-up. In 2012, he presented his one-man show, The Racist, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to rave reviews.

In his native country, he hosted numerous television shows, including the South African Comedy Festival and two seasons of his own late night talk show. Noah continues to tour worldwide and has performed to sold-out crowds at the Hammersmith Apollo in London and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
