Full cast and production team have been announced for City Lit’s season-closing production of MURDER IN THE CATHEDRAL by T.S. Eliot, the Nobel Prize winner considered to be one of the 20th Century’s greatest poets.

 tanzmainz, the German Staatstheater Mainz's contemporary dance company, makes its Montreal debut at Danse Danse with Soul Chain, a new work by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, also presented here for the first time. Presented January 23 to 27, 2024 at Théâtre Maisonneuve of the Place des Arts.

Merlin cast several Stephen Sondheim musicals, including Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Merrily We Roll Along, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, and Pacific Overtures. She also cast Evita and On the Twentieth Century. She was seen on screen in Fame and Law & Order.

The UK / Nashville duo Ida Mae have shared their new single “When Eden Was My Girl.” Recorded at Triple M Studio in Nashville, the track features the indelible lead guitar work of Marcus King who trades solo runs with Ida Mae guitarist / singer Chris Turpin alongside singer / keyboardist Stephanie Jean.

Based on the concept of Existentialism which asks, 'what happens when human existence lacks meaning or purpose and communication breaks down.' The structure of the plays often centered on the finishing point,, being the same as the starting point with the ultimate conclusion being silence.
