Called “an unquestioned master of the violin,” Tianwa Yang has established herself as a leading international performer and recording artist. She performs Paganini’s virtuosic and melodic Violin Concerto No. 2. This concert also features Beethoven’s “calm before the storm” Symphony No. 8, a beautiful Classical symphony that gave no hint of the tidal wave about to be unleashed in his next and most famous symphony.
