Rumble Theatre presents the world premiere production of INDIAN ARM by Hiro Kanagawa (The Patron Saint of Stanley Park). After years of resenting her role as mother to a disabled son, longing for a time when she and her husband Alfred could be together as they used to be, Rita gets her wish. INDIAN ARM is the story of a family dealing with unspeakable tragedy. A ruthless exploration of what it means to live together, to lose everything, and to survive unimaginable grief.

Based on Henrik Ibsen's Little Eyolf, INDIAN ARM transports the tense, 19th-century family drama to present-day Vancouver. INDIAN ARM is the first script to come out of Rumble's new commissioning program. The next commissioned playwright and script will be announced on the opening night of INDIAN ARM.

Director (and Rumble Artistic Director) Stephen Drover, Production Designer Drew Facey and Lighting Designer Conor Moore lead the creative team.
