Young female performers have the chance to appear in this year's Marlowe pantomime.

The Canterbury theatre, in partnership with Evolution Pantomimes, is looking for girls to be part of the juvenile ensemble for Aladdin, which stars Scott Maslen (EastEnders) and Phil Gallagher (Mister Maker from CBeebies), pictured.

Auditions are being held at The Marlowe Studio on Sunday 7 September, with registration at 9am. A routine will be taught on the day, which will end about 11.30am (successful performers may need to stay longer). No food or drink other than water should be brought, and comfortable clothes and soft/dance shoes worn.

To audition, girls must be aged between eight and 15 inclusive on 1 September 2014. A total commitment to the pantomime, from the rehearsal period to the end of the run (8 November to 11 January), is required.
