THE MARLOWE Theatre plays host to four ballet classics next month.

The acclaimed Russian State Ballet Of Siberia present Don Quixote, Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake from Monday 10 to Saturday 15 March. Music will be performed live by the Russian State Orchestra of Siberia.

Don Quixote is the enchanting story of an eccentric, yet noble old gentleman. Love, duels and spectacular choreography combine with a dash of Spanish passion in this Russian showpiece. It is at 7.30pm on 10 March.

Giselle tells of a beautiful village girl and her aristocratic but duplicitous lover, Duke Albrecht. It is the most poignant of all classical ballets (7.30pm, 11 and 12 March).

Every child's favourite fairytale, The Sleeping Beauty, is the classic story of love and innocence, mystery and magic set to Tchaikovsky's sublime score (7.30pm, 14 March, and 2.30pm and 7.30pm, 15 March).

To book tickets, which range in price from £18 to £40.50 (concessions available), call the Box Office on 01227 787787 or go to marlowetheatre.com.

Tickets for Swan Lake on Thursday 13 March are now sold out.
