The musical, Floyd Collins, has just two weeks left of its run in the atmospheric East End gem, Wilton's Music Hall, with just 14 performances up until 15th October. The critically acclaimed musical, set in Kentucky in 1925, tells the extraordinary true story of a cave explorer who dreams of finding fame and fortune deep underground. When the unthinkable happens and he becomes trapped, it is a desperate race against time as Collins' friends and family fight to set him free and keep his spirits up through a dark and dangerous time. Above ground, his plight catches the eye of the local press, and as the days and weeks pass, the whole country is riveted by his story and the media circus that surrounds it.

The piece stars Ashley Robinson ('superb' - The Independent) as Floyd Collins, the fearless protagonist, and the 'exceptionally good' (The Times) Rebecca Trehearn as his hopeful and endearing sister Nellie who refuses to give up on her brother's plight. Alongside them star Jack Chissick, Sarah Ingram, Sam Thomas, Daniel Booroff and a fantastic supporting cast who bring the hauntingly beautiful score to life in a powerful take on a remarkable true story.
