A popular staple of the Las Vegas entertainment experience, "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show" (www.sandysratpack) is hitting the road for a highly anticipated U.S. Theatre tour beginning this fall. The production will come to life at the Fred Kavli Theatre in the Thousand Oaks Civic Art Plaza from Oct. 25-30, 2011. Tickets start at $44 and are available online at www.theaterleague.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza box office or by calling 800.745.3000.

This show is especially significant to Lisa Dawn Miller, the show's producer (with Hackett) who plays Frank Sinatra's "One Love" in the critically acclaimed production. "My husband, Sandy Hackett and I grew up in this area and we are so excited to bring our show to the wonderful audiences right here in our own backyard and hometown. I know they will really enjoy the music, which includes many of the Rat Pack songs they know and love but also, amazing original songs written by my father, legendary songwriter, Ron Miller (For Once In My Life)," Miller says.

"The audiences here are also really going to love the comedy. Sandy is brilliantly funny! He has so many memories here in Los Angeles with his father, legendary comedian Buddy Hackett and his friends, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, "Uncle" Joey Bishop and Sammy Davis, Jr."

Young singing sensation, Oliver Richman, makes a special Los Angeles appearance in the show as "Young Frank Sinatra." Richman was recently invited by and performed with Stevie Wonder at the Nokia Theatre Live L.A. and was featured on Bryon Allen's Entertainment Studios "The Young Icons," a nationally syndicated television show about young people changing the world.

The show will continue to perform at its permanent home at the world famous Las Vegas Hilton while on its 2011-2012 National Theatre tour, which includes more than 70 tour dates (so far) throughout the rest of the season. A tour website has recently been launched with information and updates about the tour: www.sandysratpackontour.com
As a guest columnist on Robin Leach's Luxe Life Blog, Miller penned an exclusive, insightful article on the mystique and passion of "Frank Sinatra's One Love," the highly acclaimed role she performs in the show. Her column ran on www.vegasdeluxe.com and in the Las Vegas Sun. Miller is currently recording a new album entitled "Wasn't I A Good Time." She will be doing the bulk of the recording in Detroit, where her father Ron Miller launched his career 50 years ago at Motown Records. The album will feature many of the elder Miller's unpublished songs.

This fall, the Hackett-Miller Company will be launching "My Buddy," Sandy Hackett's one man show about his father Buddy Hackett. Featuring never before seen footage of Buddy, touching stories that only Buddy's son could tell and Sandy's impeccable flair for comedy (naturally), the show explores the wonderful relationship they enjoyed for the many years until Buddy's passing in 2003.
