New Ghosts Theatre Company will present the Sydney premiere of the psychological drama, FRACTURE, from August 2nd-12th at the Old Fitz Theatre. Exploring both the naturalistic and psychological, FRACTURE invites audiences into a world of personal isolation and reveals the dangers that lurk within. FRACTURE tells the story of Charlie, who lives a seemingly regular life with his two housemates in a rundown Perth apartment. Their 20-something lives seem occupied by the mundane, which suits them just fine. The apartment and their lifestyle is repetitive, regular and routine; it is modest, inconspicuous and safe. However, life for Charlie has not always been so simple and he will soon learn that there is only so long that he can run away from his past.

Written and directed by Lucy Clements and with sound design by Michael Toisuta, FRACTURE stars Brandon McClelland (The Golden Age, Suddenly Last Summer (STC), and TV's Anzac Girls), Contessa Treffone (All My Sons, Children of the Sun (STC) and Minusonesister (Griffin Independent)), Tel Benjamin (School for Scandal (New Theatre)) and Kate Cheel (Three Sisters, The Glass Menagerie, Hedda Gabler (STCSA) and Spring Awakening (ATYP)).

Established in 2015, New Ghosts Theatre Company is keenly focussed on creating original and contemporary Australian stories that interrogate and scrutinise the commonplace and the expected. Having originally operated in Perth, FRACTURE at the Old Fitz Theatre marks the company's Sydney debut.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at http://www.oldfitztheatre.com/late-shows-2016.
