Recording artist Dan Zanes is a ringmaster, bringing new songs into the world and reconnecting people to songs that have always been there. His music is described as possessing the raw spontaneity of early rock and roll, with elements of folk, and the soulfulness of West Indian music- appropriate for both big and little ears-relaxed and exciting at the same time. Zanes has released more than a dozen albums; his Dan Zanes and Friends' Catch That Train! was co-released with Starbucks/Hear Music and won the 2007 Grammy for Best Musical Album for Children.
