An incredible opportunity has presented itself to the cast of If/Then upon arriving in St. Louis last Tuesday to carry out a 2 week run at The Fabulous Fox Theatre (March 15-27th). After sitting and talking with Anthony Rapp (star of If/Then, RENT), he told us that the Hard Rock Cafe contacted them and offered to donate their space for them to perform in, if they could find a use.

The cast and crew of If/Then works tirelessly around the clock, performing every evening of the week; including 2 shows a day on weekend days. They get one day off during their run in St. Louis: Monday the 21st. It appears as though members of the cast and band agree that there is something more important than a day off - CHARITY!

It's been solidified and tickets are now on sale for the semi-impromptu performance featuring the stars of the If/Then cast for one night only. It's a one of a kind event that Rapp says they're calling "Now/Then," as it features some of the cast singing their favorite tunes both from current artist/shows to what Rapp refers to as "old school, '90s jams." Some of the songs will be from the stage and others you'll recognize from the radio or MTV, back when it was actually Music Television.

The most important part though? All proceeds go to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS charity organization (http://www.broadwaycares.org/). "Broadway Cares has been around for more than a couple of decades," says Rapp. "What they do is raise tons of money from the generosity of our audiences [like you], and they distribute that money Nation wide to local community based AIDS service organizations; including ones right here in the St. Louis area. So, this benefit will absolutely have a trickle down effect to people right here in your community."

We got a sneak-peak of some of the songs that they will be performing, and there is something in there for everyone: selections from Once the Musical, Bob Marley, Radiohead and Adele to name a few.

Seating is limited! Rapp expressed that there will only be about 150 tickets sold, but that sales are open to the public. If you've ever wished to have a sort of private concert feauturing Broadway stars, now is your chance. Rapp promises it to be "a very very entertaining and important night where we can put some money toward a wonderful cause." Check out the talent involved with the concert below and be sure to snag a ticket for your date night, celebration or casual concert going experience before it's too late!
