Amazing Grace Photos - Broadway

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the beloved holiday film's release, a truly outstanding all-star cast has been assembled for For The Record and The Wallis’ co-production of LOVE ACTUALLY LIVE, the multimedia concert celebration with performances scheduled from Wednesday, Nov. 22 - Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Even if you have seen it before, I cannot stress enough how miraculous the current production of ANNIE is at the Hollywood Bowl, directed with creative ingenuity by Michael Arden. Featured in the cast of incredibly talented triple-threat (acting, singing, dancing) performers are Ana Gasteyer as the ruthless headmistress Miss Agatha Hannigan, David Alan Grier as the refined, generous billionaire Oliver 'Daddy' Warbucks, Lea Salonga as his dedicated and caring assistant Grace Farrell, with newcomer Kaylin Hedges as Annie, who won the role over hundreds of other young girls from across the country who submitted video auditions to win role. Miss Hedges is the cornerstone of the production and her soaring, pitch-perfect voice and effervescent stage presence setting the jubilant tone for the entire ensemble.

LEGENDS: Diana Ross, Billie Holiday, Beyonce' and More Stars MOTOWN: The Musical and Helen Hayes nominee N'Kenge with the Jacksonville Symphony under the baton of Maestro Nathan Aspinall. The show celebrates musical greats from Opera Legends Leontyne Price, Martina Arroyo to jazz and Pop stars such as Tina Turner, Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne and Beyonce. Broadway's Kenny Seymour (Memphis, Amazing Grace) is currently Music Director on the piano, and song selections include audience favorites such as "Proud Mary", "Love On Top", "Stormy Weather" and Porgy and Bess's "My Man's Gone Now".

The Garden of Dreams Foundation is pleased to announce Concert for Dreams, a unique two-part concert experience and the first ever benefit concert in support of the Foundation. The two-part event will include an evening fundraising concert featuring O.A.R. and special guests, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels co-founder of Run-DMC and Garden of Dreams Board member, Gavin DeGraw, Robert Randolph, Adam Duritz of Counting Crows, Nate Ruess of fun., John Rzeznik of Goo Goo Dolls and Matt Nathanson at the Beacon Theatre on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 8:00 p.m.. Tickets for the evening fundraiser on-sale now, with all net proceeds going directly to Garden of Dreams. There will also be a dedicated Garden of Dreams kids concert on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. hosted by Elvis Duran of Z100, featuring O.A.R. and all of the evening performers plus Rachel Crow and Grace Vanderwaal. Lineup is subject to change.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents this year's holiday show, A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL, based on the popular 1983 film. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL has a book by Joseph Robinette with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will be directed byBrandon Ivie and choreographed by Mara Newbery Greer. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from November 25, 2015, through January 3, 2016. Marcia Pendelton, founder and president of Walk Tall Girl Productions, celebrated the 15th anniversary of her company on Monday, September 28, 2015. Pendelton and her friends from the performing arts, fashion and media joined forces to celebrate her company's work to bring diverse audiences to the arts, on Broadway and beyond. On Thursday, July 9, 2015, BROADWAY SERVES kicked off its summer-long partnership with the Children's Aid Society. Child volunteers from the theater community teamed up with CAS' kindergarten-3rd grade campers to fill and decorate toiletry bags. These toiletries will be donated to formerly homeless residents currently living in an Urban Pathways facility. Rehearsals are currently underway for Broadway's new musical Amazing Grace, which will play Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street) with performances beginning Thursday, June 25 for a Thursday, July 16 opening night. The cast features Tony Award nominee Josh Young, Erin Mackey, Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper, Tom Hewitt, Chris Hoch, Stanley Bahorek, Harriett D. Entertainment One Music (eOne Music) dominated this year's 30th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards taped on March 28th in Las Vegas, winning half of the 28 categories with a total of 14 awards including most of the major categories: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year, Choir of the Year and CD of the Year. Celebrating wins for the #1 hits from Erica Campbell, Ricky Dillard, William McDowell and Michelle Williams, career honors were also bestowed with Bishop Paul S. Morton receiving the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award, and Pastor Shirley Caesar and Ricky Dillard inducted into the 2015 inaugural class of Stellar Honors honorees with special medallions.
