The Washington Stage follows up on its greatly popular presentation of Don Juan In Hell last November with a very different “devilish” play by Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw.

Gloucester Stage Company continues its 39th season of professional theater with the New England premiere of Jason O'Connell and Brenda Withers' Cyrano from July 13 through August 11 at Gloucester Stage Company, 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Robert Walsh directs this adaptation of Rostand's 1897 classic, Cyrano de Bergerac. According to Walsh, 'Cyrano, a new adaptation of the famous play by Edmond Rostand (Cyrano de Bergerac), by Brenda Withers & Jason O'Connell, is a fast-paced, contemporized version featuring a small cast breathing fresh life into this large-scale classic.  Witty, clever, insouciant and fully enjoying the poetic bravura through a modern-day lens and very approachable language, this New England premiere will be perfect for Gloucester Stage!  A beautiful tale told with panache.'

Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) presents the 13th Season of Project Shaw, a special series of evenings offering some of Shaw's greatest works and those of his contemporaries, presented monthly at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

Maria Aitken will direct the Globe's handsome production of this timeless world classic-an unmissable opportunity to see what the London Telegraph calls 'the most perfect comedy in the English language.' The Importance of Being Earnest will run January 27 - March 4, 2018 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale now to the general public. Previews run January 27-31. Opening night is Thursday, February 1 at 8:00 p.m.

Martin Witts and Lesley Ackland for London International Arts Ltd present the World Premiere of a new British musical, winner of Leicester Square Theatre's The New Musical Project, Oscar Wilde's De Profundis, featuring Music & Lyrics by Paul Dale Vickers. Roundabout Theatre Company presents Tony Award winner Douglas Hodge as "Cyrano" in a new Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac. Clemence Poesy will make her Broadway debut as "Roxane" and Broadway veteran Patrick Page will play 'Comte De Guiche.' It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Macy's Herald Square as America's Largest Department Store just unveiled its legendary Christmas windows on Thursday, November 18 at 5pm. This year, spectators will be taken on a magical journey through the eyes of 8-year-old Virginia O'Hanlon who wrote to the New York Sun in 1897 in a quest to prove the existence of Santa Claus. The response, written by newsman Francis P. Church, began with the now-famous line, 'Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus...' and is viewed by those who believe as a symbol of the generosity and spirit of the season. In celebration of this spirit, this season's Christmas windows are more animated and theatrical than ever, as Macy's brings the magic of the Broadway stage to its world famous Broadway windows in its collaboration with PRG Scenic Technologies. Virginia's inspiring true story, now a CBS animated TV Christmas special, 'Yes, Virginia...,' magically comes to life via animation and automation.

Howard McGillin, Nancy Anderson and Jim Stanek are among the performers in a cabaret of New York songs and stories.

The Katselas Theatre Company presents the World Premiere musical, Children of the Night, book, music and lyrics by Scott Martin. David Galligan is directing. Producing are Gary Grossman and Jayne Hamil. The production opens Saturday, October 10 at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
