The three and the film's producer Nira Park have previously worked together on the television series Spaced, as well as the other two films in the so-called 'Cornetto trilogy', Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007). The film follows a group of friends reattempting an epic pub crawl during an alien invasion.
