Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil & Schonberg's Les Miserables just welcomed several new cast members for its second year on Broadway last night, March 3 at The Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Joining the cast are Tony and Oliver Award nominee Gavin Lee (Mary Poppins) as Thenardier, Erika Henningsen as Fantine, Rachel Izen as Madame Thenardier,Brennyn Lark as Eponine, Chris McCarrell as Marius and Wallace Smith as Enjolras. Tony Award nominee Ramin Karimloo will perform as Jean Valjean through the end of the summer; Will Swenson, as Javert, and Samantha Hill, as Cosette, will continue in their roles as well. To promote their upcoming production of LES MISERABLES, the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre recently held a flash mob at the Mall of Millenia. This original production features the performances of Chuck Wagner, Danny Rothman, Victoria Huston-Elem, Tommy Cunningham, Julie Johnson, and Dallas Lish, leading a company of over 100 voices. The bold design features a new, four story set designed by Michael Raiford and over 400 costumes designed by Oklahoman Jeffrey Meek. The production runs June 24 through 28 at the Civic Center Music Hall, and is the first of Lyric's four summer shows. Check out a sneak peek below!

After seeing the film "Les Miserables," Showtime producers thought it would be funny for "House of Lies" stars Don Cheadle and Josh Lawson to sing lines Les-Mis style from the hit show and asked Sandblast Productions to add a musical score to the actors' unique a cappella version.
