Fiorello! will be directed by Gary Griffin with choreography by Alex Sanchez and music direction by Rob Berman. Before becoming a director, Mr. Prince's productions included The Pajama Game, Damn Yankees, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Fiorello! and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

New York City Center has just reopened following a historic renovation and modernization with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and star-studded gala last night, October 25 at New York City Center. Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg conducted The Encores! Orchestra in the opening number (as a nod to Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia, who conducted the New York Philharmonic when City Center opened as a performing arts center in 1943). Broadway Beat was there for the reopening, and brings you interviews with the evening's participants below!

Happy Days star Tom Bosley has passed away in his home in Palm Springs. He was 83 years old. In the following clip, 'Happy Days' co-star Henry Winkler remembers his dear friend on 'The Today Show'.
