The Public Extends SORRY Through 11/25

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis and Executive Director Patrick Willingham) announced today that the critically acclaimed production of SORRY, written and directed by Richard Nelson, will extend an additional week to Sunday, November 25. SORRY, a Public Lab production currently playing in The Public's Anspacher Theater, opened on Tuesday, November 6 and was originally scheduled to close on November 18. Opening night is Nov. 21 at 7:00 p.m. The Grinch isdirected by James Vasquez with book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin. The original production of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! was conceived and directed by Jack O'Brien with Additional Lyrics by Theodor S. Geisel, Additional Music by Albert Hague and original choreography by John DeLuca. Ticket prices start at $37 for adults and $24 for children (17 years and under). Lucas Stibbard stars in Boy Girl Wall, a role that earned him a Helpmann Award nomination. Hagley Museum and Library presents NatureFest on Saturday, May 4, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. NatureFest's 2013 theme is Earth. This family event provides a fun learning opportunity for kids and encourages them to explore our environment. Admission is $5 for children six to fourteen, free for members, adults, and children five and under. Use Hagley's Buck Road Entrance off Route 100.
