Fred Ebb Foundation Donates Over $1.6 Million to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids

The Fred Ebb Foundation has announced that its 2016 donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will total $1.675 million dollars, bringing the foundation's total contribution to BC/EFA to $13.325 million since it began 12 years ago. The foundation, which is funded by royalties from the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb's vast catalogue of work, makes an annual donation to BC/EFA. (more...)

Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the twelfth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Thomas Mizer and Curtis Moore, tonight from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater. Known for her thought provoking one-liners and her observations on everyday life, Rita keeps it real talking about the things that amuse her.  A house-filling favorite in Las Vegas since she opened as one of the hottest tickets in town in June 2000, Rita Rudner is known for her epigrammatic one-liners. Carolina Gårdheim has been on a journey of personal and spiritual development for all her life, and especially since she got burned out in 1997. One of the reasons she got burned out was that she had completely shut down her creativity. Her focus on bringing back the creativity in her life led her to start her company, Kreativ Insikt (Creative Insight). Seven years later, Gårdheim felt she had so much to inspire about that she wanted to put it all in one big book.
