Comic Drama STOP KISS by Diana Son Comes to Birmingham Festival Theatre

Stop Kiss is the third show of Birmingham Festival Theatre's 'All You Need Is Love' Season. It is a poignant comic drama written by American playwright Diana Son that tells the touching story of Callie, a traffic reporter, and Sara, a new schoolteacher from St Louis, coming to work in The Bronx. While making their way in 1998 NYC, their paths cross and hearts become entangled. Sharing confidences about their careers, boyfriends, and families their affection grows deeper until a sudden event changes their lives forever. The play is a contemporary story about the thrills of love and perils of intolerance that moves from laughter to sorrow without missing a beat. (more...)
