The New York Musical Festival Announces Initial Lineup for 2017 Festival

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) announced today the initial lineup for 2017 NYMF. Among the shows announced in the lineup are the Next Link Project musical selections, as well as invited production selections. Now in its fourteenth year, the 2017 Festival will take place July 10th through August 6th at locations around midtown Manhattan in New York City. Dan Markley serves as NYMF Executive Director & Producer and Rachel Sussman serves as Director of Programming & Artist Services. (more...)

He has kicked our heroine into the year 3000, armed her with a graffiti device, and put her up against an evil uncle named Kanye East. Akers, 'Dead Man's Dinner,' which Theater for the New City will present March 23 to April 9 in a production by resident company Squeaky Bicycle Productions, directed by Kathryn McConnell. The arts community was out in force on Feb. 22 for the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony for "Mercer County Artists 2017," now on display at the Gallery at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) through March 23. cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA, with Associate Producers Brownies and Lemonade, Shifty Rhythms, and Department 4, are proud to announce the lineup for the 2017 BROKE LA Music & Arts Festival. The festival's new location will be 4560 Worth St and will occur on the new date of April 8th, 2017. The date move shifts the festival away from overlapping with Coachella weekend for the first time ever, kicking off festival season in Los Angeles. Commenting on the change, Executive Director Negin Singh notes, "It is important for us, first and foremost, that our event serve our artists in their professional development.
