Cabrillo Music Theatre is thrilled to present the Off-Broadway and Los Angeles smash-hit musical, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES.

With some theatres already reporting that Midnight Tango is their fastest selling show of 2011, the producers of Midnight Tango have responded by adding further performances at certain venues on the nationwide tour, which begins in Southampton at the Mayflower Theatre on 6 April.

This morning, music duo Alan Menken and Glenn Slater received an Oscar nomination for Best Song for 'I See The Light' from Disney's Tangled. This is the 19th nomination for Menken, who has earned 8 Academy Awards already, more than any living person. This is the first nomination for Slater, who has collaborated with Menken on several projects, including Broadway's The Little Mermaid and Sister Act, which is scheduled to open on Broadway on April 20, 2011. The show has played in the West End and is currently a hit in Hamburg, Germany.

The new Broadway musical Baby It's You! tells the inspiring story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who changed the recording world forever when she discovered The Shirelles and created Scepter Records, becoming the music industry's first female powerhouse. Starring Tony Award winner Beth Leavel as Greenberg, conceived by Floyd Mutrux, directed by Floyd Mutrux and Sheldon Epps, and written by Tony nominated book writers Mutrux and Colin Escott, the team behind Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet, Baby It's You! begins performances at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) Saturday, March 26, 2011, and opens Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 6:30pm. Baby It's You! features a cast of 19 that includes Allan Louis, Geno Henderson, Erica Ash, Kelli Barrett, Kyra DaCosta, Crystal Starr Knighton, Barry Pearl, Christina Sajous, Brandon Uranowitz, Alison Cimmet, Erica Dorfler, Berlando Drake, Adam Heller, Jahi A. Shakespeare & Company's new Artistic Director Tony Simotes today announced news of a hugely successful and near record-breaking box office for its 2010/11 season, along with a sneak preview of his exhilarating and ambitious line-up for the Company's 34th Performance Season (his second as A.D.). Comedic actor Leslie Jordan is best remembered internationally for his recurring role as Beverley Leslie in TV's Will & Grace (2001-2006) for which he won the coveted Emmy Award. Former JERSEY BOYS star Erich Bergen is certainly one busy guy. In support of his first soon-to-be released solo CD The Vegas Sessions, Bergen will be debuting his new club act at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, September 15. On top of that, he is currently in rehearsals for the new musical VENICE, which is set to open October 7 at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City.
