Broadway In Chicago has announced Tony and Olivier Award-nominated Euan Morton will play the role of Hedwig, and Hannah Corneau will play Yitzhak in the National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival. Hedwig and the Angry Inch will play Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph) March 7-19, 2017.

Comedian/actress/jazz musician Lea DeLaria will be performing the Los Angeles premiere of LEA DeLARIA: HOUSE OF DAVID, her jazz-inspired David Bowie cabaret show to benefit Grand Performances' 30th Anniversary on September 17, 2016. Lea has been entertaining since the early 1980s, either performing stand-up, singing jazz, acting in film and TV, or gracing the Broadway stage.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team of the West Coast premiere of OCTOBER SKY, which will blast off the Globe's 2016-2017 Season with a tale of boys, rockets, and big dreams.

A gripping tragedy of love that transcends all, Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA follows a courageous Nubian princess as she is forced to choose between passion and allegiance.  This poignant musical features HAMILTON's own Emmy Raver-Lampman as Aida and Broadway's Mark Evans as Radames.

This summer, NYMF will be on quest to save Paradise one Scrabble tile at a time. The new musical, The Last Word will be presented at the Duke on 42nd Street, a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 W 42nd St) . The Last Word is written by Brett Sullivan (Billy Elliot Live Film Director) and will be directed by Michael Bello (Doctor Zhivago), choreography by Nick Kenkel (Gotta Dance, Legally Blonde) and Musical Supervisor is Conrad Helfrich (Dirty Dancing).  It will begin performances on July 22 and will run through July 29, 2016. The Ambassador Theatre Group is to produce a brand new stage musical based on the life of the legendary Frank Sinatra, in partnership with Stewart Till and Frank Sinatra Enterprises.  The show, which is planned to open in 2018, will feature a number of timeless hit songs from Sinatra's incredible catalogue of over 1400 tracks recorded during his illustrious career. Script development for the Frank Sinatra musical is planned to start shortly.

Today in 1975, The Rocky Horror Show opened at the Belasco Theatre, where it ran for 45 performances. The Rocky Horror Show was written by Richard O'Brien, produced and directed by Jim Sharman. It tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist unveiling his new creation, a muscle man named Rocky Horror. The musical was adapted into the 1975 film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which today has a worldwide cult following and has the longest running release in film history.

IBEX Puppetry Presents Sing Along with The Muppet Movie!  This family-friendly raucous interaction with the timeless, classic film will take place on Sunday, April 3 at the State Theatre in Easton.

Steve Punt, Charlie Condou and Philip Franks are set to star as The Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show UK Tour 2015/2016.
