Calling all humans! Tonight, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS opens at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans, and this is a show you absolutely don't want to miss. With music by the Gershwin brothers, book by Craig Lucas, and with the choreography and direction of Christopher Wheeldon, this show brings beauty and light to the aftermath of World War II in Paris. We follow three young men who are on a journey to find love and to find their way in the world through making art in a time when the world was struggling to recover.

Now in its 27th year, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story tells the enduring tale of the musical icon's meteoric rise to fame and his final legendary performance at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, before his tragic and untimely death at the age of 22. In 18 short months the Texas-born boy revolutionized the face of contemporary music, influencing everyone from The Beatles to Bruce Springsteen.

The hit musical inspired by the life of rock legend Marc Bolan, 20th Century Boy, returns to the stage on a UK-wide tour to mark the 40th anniversary of the iconic star's untimely death. Opening on 8 March at G-Live in Guildford, the production will enjoy a 20-week tour, visiting 27 theatres through to Saturday 30 June.

Dallas, Texas underground hip-hop sensation JUNYA BOY has released his latest single titled He Aint Right featuring BET Award winning R&B/Pop Artist Bryson Tiller. Junya Boy is currently in the studio with producer Rick Lander, working on tracks for his forthcoming LP Time and Time Again, set to drop in 2018.

Presentation House Theatre (PHT) and Mexico's famed Marionetas de la Esquina present the Canadian premiere of Amaranta Leyva's whimsical and enchanting puppet show, Sleeping Beauty Dreams, at Presentation House Theatre from January 25 to February 4, 2018. A princess with overprotective parents and a lonely boy whose single mother works all the time are at the heart of this international collaboration. As they embark on a journey of self-discovery, both the princess and boy learn about the power of positive risk-taking.

Oh the Thinks you can think when you think about Seuss! Plunging audiences, striped-hat-first, into Dr. Seuss's whimsical world, Seussical takes over the Allenberry stage with all your favorite Seuss characters including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gerturde McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, and a little boy with a big imagination, Jojo. Bursting with frivolity and imagination, the colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many 'thinks'. Horton faces a double challenge. Not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Seussical is fun for the whole family!

Golden Thread Productions, the first American theatre company devoted to the Middle East, presents the West Coast premiere of Amir Nizar Zuabi's Oh My Sweet Land, a tour-de-force solo show based on interviews with Syrian refugees in Jordan. Instead of staging the play in a theater, Golden Thread will present the show in kitchens around the Bay Area with performances followed by food sharing and community conversations.

Comedy is heading to the Con. Comedy Central franchises South Park, Drunk History and The President Show will all be partaking in the festivities at 2017 New York Comic Con at Javits Center

Paul Weller begins his eagerly anticipated U.S. tour in support of his critically acclaimed album A Kind Revolution in Long Island, NY at The Paramount Theatre on October 1, followed by two shows at Irving Plaza in New York City on October 2 and 3. The Riverside Opera Company (ROC), under the direction of Maestro Alan Aurelia, presents: A Wedding in Song and Dance a performance that includes tri-state area audition winners Soprano Sun Young Chang and Tenor Seunghwan Oh performing excerpts from La Boheme, performances by Dawn Daniels and Dancers performing traditional Irish Jigs and Reels; Lydias School of Dance performing ballets from Aida by Verdi accompanied by pianist Olga Gurevich. Youth performers include Brian Moses on piano, Isabel Bruschi on violin and Kristian Marino on trumpet performing a wide range of pieces including La boheme: Musetta's Waltz, 'Flight of the Bumblebee' and 'Danny boy.
