Photo Coverage: King Avenue Players' THE FANTASTICKS
King Ave Players is proud to present "The Fantasticks" at King Ave United Methodist Church! Come and join us for this fabulous show, refreshments, and a free will offering. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is encouraged. Free childcare will be available on Friday and Sunday.
"The Fantasticks" is a funny and romantic musical about a boy, a girl, and their two fathers who try to keep them apart. The narrator, El Gallo, asks the audience to use their imagination and follow him into a world of moonlight and magic. The boy and the girl fall in love, grow apart and finally find their way back to each other after realizing the truth in El Gallo's words that, "without a hurt, the heart is hollow."
Directed by Brian A. Palmer. Cast includes: El Gallo - Cory Velazco, Luisa Bellomy - Kate Glaser, Matt Hucklebee - David Rausch, Amos Babcock Bellomy - Edward Grudus, Hucklebee - David Allen Boley, Henry Albertson - Richard Bauer, Mortimer - Dan McCarty, The Mute - Elizabeth Sanow, Ashton Brammer, Caitlin Johnson.
Performances run October 19th thru 22nd and are 7:30pm nightly with a 3pm matinee on Sunday. All performances are at King Avenue United Methodist Church, 299 King Ave., Columbus, OH. Childcare is available during the Friday evening and Sunday matinee performances. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is encouraged.
