Rehearsals begin today for the European premiere of David Bowie and Enda Walsh's LAZARUS, ahead of preview performances from Tuesday 25 October in a brand new 900-seater venue at Kings Cross Theatre built specifically for the production. Playing for 13 WEEKS ONLY until Sunday 22 January 2017, LAZARUS will have its official opening night on Tuesday 8 November 2016.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director), recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, launches the 2016-2017 season with Mel Brooks' award-winning musical The Producers, directed by Don Stephenson and choreographed by Bill Burns. The Public Theater announced complete casting today for the New York Premiere of PARTY PEOPLE by UNIVERSES (Steven Sapp, Mildred Ruiz-Sapp, and William Ruiz a.k.a Ninja. As one season draws to an end, another phenomenal one must begin! The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall is elated to announce its 2016-2017 Broadway, Dance and Classical series. 

Rebecca LaChance surprised the 800 attendees of the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts preview on March 30 at the Southern Theatre. LaChance, who performed 'Beautiful' and '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,' is expected to play the title role in BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL when the national tour has a six-day stopover in June, 2017 in Columbus.

The 2016-2017 Broadway in Wilmington series at The Playhouse on Rodney Square, announced today, will feature two more productions than the current season, bringing the total to eight. In the second season under the management of The Grand Opera House, the series will expand to five full-productions: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Kinky Boots, Cinderella, the 20th anniversary re-mount of Riverdance, and Pippin.
