The Morris Choral Society, now in its 45th Anniversary Season, heralds the Holidays with an annual Morristown concert tradition in two performances, Saturday, December 9th, at 8PM and Sunday, December 10th, at 3PM at the historic Bickford Theater at the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey.

Tony and Emmy Award-winning star of stage and screen Leslie Uggams (Hallelujah, Baby! and The Leslie Uggams Show) has joined the ranks of EMMY TV LEGENDS as a recent interviewee of the Archive of American Television. In honor of the 40th anniversary of the original airing of Alex Haley's ROOTS in which she so memorably portrayed Kizzy Kinte, Uggams traces her career as a child star during the early days of television to her current roles in the blockbuster hits DEADPOOL and EMPIRE.

Ruthie will celebrate the album tomorrow, March 21, at 8:30 p.m. at City Vineyard (Voices Along the Hudson, 155 Varick, NYC).

The Halalisa Singers present Music Down in My Soul:  Songs of hope and spirit from around the world, on Saturday, April 8, 8 pm at Follen Community Church, 755 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, and on Sunday, April 9, 3 pm, First Parish of Watertown, 35 Church Street.  The world music choral ensemble is led by Artistic Director Mary Cunningham, accompanied by Trevor Berens, piano and Bertram Lehmann, percussion. 

Musical group SONS OF SERENDIP performed at Wausau's Grand Theater on February 17. As fate would have it, they gave an engaging and skilled performance.

In a long-awaited collaboration, The Falmouth Chorale, led by Artistic Director John Yankee, and The Zamir Chorale of Boston, conducted by founder and Artistic Director Joshua R. Jacobson, present PsalmSensation, a concert featuring more than 120 singers and instrumentalists for a single performance on Sunday, March 19, 7 pm at The Lawrence School, 113 Lakeview Avenue, Falmouth.

On last night's LATE NIGHT, Grammy-nominated singer Tori Kelly performed a cover of 'Hallelujah.'

The 5th Annual Guitar Mash will be held at New York's City Winery on Sunday, December 11th from noon to 3:30 pm.The event, which includes a brunch, celebrates the power of communal music-making while supporting outreach to teen musicians in communities from across New York's five boroughs.
