As the UK premiere of Spamilton: An American Parody goes on sale to the public, the Menier Chocolate Factory announce a brand new pricing policy across the season - tickets will be available for all performances of Spamilton, and The Gronholm Method from just £19.50. These tickets go on sale at 9am on 16 May, and are available to everyone to enable work at the company's home to be accessible to all.

With Kiss of the Spider Woman running at the Menier, the UK premiere of Jordi Galceran's The Gronholm Method in rehearsals, the critically acclaimed Travesties recently opened on Broadway and The Color Purple on tour in the US, the Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the UK premiere of Gerard Alessandrini's Spamilton which opens at the theatre on 24 July, with previews from 12 July and runs until 8 September. The production renews Alessandrini's collaboration with the Menier following Forbidden Broadway which ran both at the theatre and in the West End.

Opera Saratoga's Artistic and General Director Lawrence Edelson announced the complete casting and programming for the company's 2018 Summer Festival, which will feature new productions of four operas at The Spa Little Theater in Spa State Park, along with a wide variety of free and ticketed concert events from May 26th through July 15th at venues throughout the region. Will, meanwhile, has his own struggles: his inspiration fled, his debts and unwritten commissions piling up…until he meets an unknown young player named Thomas Kent, who speaks his words as he's always dreamed they'd be spoken, and a beautiful woman named Viola, who could be just the muse he needs. Under the direction of MTC artistic director Jasson Minadakis, this stage adaptation of the beloved film finds its true essence: a love letter to the power of theatre and the imagination.

"Spamilton," the critically acclaimed off-Broadway parody of Lin-Manuel Miranda's sensation, "Hamilton," has set casting for its regional premiere in Chicago at the Royal George Theatre (1641 N. Halsted). Created by Tony Award honoree Gerard Alessandrini, the mastermind behind "Forbidden Broadway," the show features an all-Chicago ensemble including Donterrio Johnson, Adam LaSalle, Michelle Lauto, Eric Andrew Lewis, Yando Lopez and David Robbins.
