Justin Timberlake Eyed for A TIME TO KILL on Broadway?

Now, Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post that the play is getting closer to Broadway with a new reading set for Friday in New York, featuring Beau Bridges, his daughter Emily and Shuler Hensley. Riedel also reports that Justin Timberlake who has been looking for a theatre project will be 'approached' for the role of the show's young legal protege, Jack Brigance, played out of town by Sebastian Arcelus. There's no word on a potential timeline for the show, or if Timberlake is interested in the part. (more...)

According to an Equity casting notice, Daryl Roth and Eva Price are bringing Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's novel A Time To Kill to Broadway in Fall 2013. A recent production played Baltimore's Arena Stage in 2011. Rehearsals will begin in August 2013, with opening night set for early October 2013. Ethan McSweeny is set to direct. (more...)

According to The Wall Street Journal, comedian Jerry Lewis revealed on Friday night during celebrations for his 86th birthday, that THE NUTTY PROFESSOR will hit Broadway this fall, with a planned opening of November 15th. The production, which had originally aimed for the 2010/11 season will star entertainer Michael Andrew. Lewis first revealed the production and introduced Andrew back in 2006 while hosting the MDA telethon, video of which apepars below. Lewis also revealed that joining the production team would be choreographer Kathleen Marshall. (more...)

Bacon Joins Carell For New Warner Bros. Film
