 Emmy, Grammy, and Six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald will return to Broadway this season starring in Ohio State Murders by Adrienne Kennedy, directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon  (Fences, A Soldier’s Play).

Historic six-time Tony Award Winner Audra McDonald, star of Broadway’s The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, Carousel, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill and HBO’s The Gilded Age, opens the Town Hall series on May 29 with Seth Rudetsky as music director and host.

Audra McDonald has been awarded a record-breaking six Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards, and an Emmy, receiving a National Medal of Arts and named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in 2015. A Juilliard-trained soprano, McDonald maintains a major career as a Grammy-winning recording and concert artist.

Audra McDonald is unparalleled in the breadth and versatility of her artistry as both a singer and actor. The winner of a record-breaking six Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards, and an Emmy Award, she was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people of 2015. She received a 2015 National Medal of Arts—America's highest honor for achievement in the arts—from President Barack Obama.

Alongside Andy Einhorn and the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, Audra will take you through the Great American Songbook and Broadway's greatest hits.

The album will feature collaborations with Kristin Chenoweth, Gloria Estefan, John Legend, Johnny Mathis and Calum Scott

Ars Nova has announced the Ars Nova at Greenwich HouseWarming Party, a benefit performance of Freestyle Love Supreme with Lin-Manuel Miranda that will take place on Sunday, March 3, 6pm at Ars Nova at Greenwich House (27 Barrow Street, Manhattan).
