Victoria Theatre Association Opens General Tickets Sales for 2010-2011 Season, 7/31

Tickets for the majority of Victoria Theatre Association's 2010-2011 season will go on sale on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10 AM. Patrons may purchase tickets online at www.ticketcenterstage.com beginning at 10 AM. At 12 Noon, patrons will be able to purchase tickets over the phone at 937-228-3630 or 866-228-3630, or in person at the Ticket Center Stage box office location in the Victoria Theatre, on the corner of First and Main Streets in downtown Dayton. Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced that Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, and Ari Graynor will co-star in the world premiere comedy TRUST, written by Paul Weitz, directed by Peter DuBois. Mr. Weitz returns to Second Stage Theatre, where his plays Privilege and Show People premiered in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Directed by Peter DuBois, who staged Second Stage's acclaimed production of Becky Shaw, TRUST will begin previews on Friday, July 23 at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd street) and officially open on Thursday, August 12. Civic Theater West Holds Auditions for THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, 7/12 & 7/13

Auditions will be held on Monday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 13 at 8:00pm. Call backs will be held on Wednesday, July 14 at 8:00pm. Rehearsals will be held between July 19 and September 9. Production dates are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm from September 10 thru October 9 with one Thursday performance on September 16 at 7:00pm. Be prepared with 16 bars of a song from a Broadway show (but not from The Drowsy Chaperone), and come dressed for movement. (more...)
