Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that Broadway's Hand to God will (yet again) offer early theatergoers the chance to catch this new American play at a special price: $37.50 per ticket, in recognition of the 37 (or 38) productions opening on Broadway during the 2014-2015 Season, depending on whether or not Wolf Hall counts as one or two productions. A limited quantity of select mezzanine seats at this special price will be on-sale beginning Monday, March 23rd for performances from March 23rd through April 6th and must be purchased during a limited one week on-sale window (through 11:00 PM on Sunday, March 29th). There is also a limit of 4 tickets per purchase, and tickets will be available online, via phone or at the box office. (more...)

On Friday night, The New York Pops continued its 31st season with two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in her solo debut at Carnegie Hall. Among other musical standards, Foster reprised her unforgettable performances of 'Anything Goes' and 'I Get a Kick Out of You' from her Tony Award-winning turn as Reno Sweeney in the Cole Porterclassic. She also offered her own take on 'Down with Love,' made famous by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand. Foster was joined by special guest artists Joshua Henry and Megan McGinnis, who sang the showstopper 'Let It Sing' from Violet, and the touching 'Neverland' from Peter Pan.
