This spring Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) joins in international centennial celebrations for choreographer Jerome Robbins and composer Leonard Bernstein with an all-Robbins program featuring three company premieres. "UPMC Presents West Side Story Suite + In the Night + Fancy Free" with the PBT Orchestra takes the stage May 4-6, at the Benedum Center.

Today the Edinburgh International Festival unveils its 2018 programme. The International Festival runs Friday 3 to Monday 27 August. The event welcomes 2,750 artists from 31 nations to perform in Scotland's capital city and attracts visitors from all over the world, with audiences expected to travel from over 80 nations to be part of Edinburgh's global celebration of culture.

Three hundred and fifty singers, dancers and musicians from the Hungarian State Opera will take over the David H. Koch Theater for two weeks when the Hungarian State Opera and Hungarian National Ballet make their U.S. debuts, October 30-November 11, in programs featuring a series of U.S. premieres and new productions. The announcement of the engagement was made by Szilveszter Ókovács, General Director of the Hungarian State Opera today (March 14) at the Hungarian Consulate in New York City.

Lucy Noble is the Artistic and Commercial Director of the Royal Albert Hall, which is currently running a Women and the Hall programme. It celebrates the anniversary of the Representation of the People Act of 1918, which granted women the right to vote, and the Hall's continuing place in the women's movement.

On the heels of a triumphant album release, Bay-Area pianist Jeffrey LaDeur celebrates the centennial year of Claude Debussy (1862-1918) with his Carnegie Hall Debut in Weill Recital Hall. On Sunday March 25th, LaDeur builds narratives across centuries of French music in a performance of Debussy's Etudes (1915) with additional works of Couperin and Chopin that influenced Debussy's final masterpiece for piano.

South Street Seaport Museum announces a new collaboration with the Erie Maritime Museum and Flagship Niagara League, as the 1893 Essex, MA-built fishing schooner Lettie G. Howard will offer programming at the Erie Maritime Museum.

The Citizens Theatre has announced details of the final season to be presented at its home at 119 Gorbals Street before work commences on a major redevelopment of the iconic Glasgow venue.

The Playwrights Realm has announced that Sebastian Chacon will join the cast for the final performances in the Realm's World Premiere production of Michael Yates Crowley's acclaimed The Rape of the Sabine Women by Grace B. Matthias.

New York City Ballet will open its 2017-18 Season at Lincoln Center today, September 19, and will continue with 21 weeks of performances, through Sunday, June 3, featuring 61 ballets by 15 different choreographers.

Today The Old Vic announces His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales as newly appointed Royal Patron of The Old Vic to mark the theatre's bicentennial year in 2018. His Royal Highness will continue a long family connection with The Old Vic, London's independent, not for profit theatre, and has inspired a new partnership between it and The Prince's Trust.
