Annex Theatre serves up a saucey satire of the Lifetime television genre in a new late night show WOMEN IN PERIL written by Joel Steinpreis & Craig Trolli and directed by Jason Sharp. Bad Actor Productions bring their campy nonsense and anarchic deviance to bear on the trashy world of 1990's Lifetime movies - the kind of trashy psychotic plot-defying guilty pleasure we secretly binged on with our moms!
Robin Wagner, Lewis Brown, et al. Win TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards

Three-time Tony Award-winning scenic designer ROBIN WAGNER and esteemed costume designer LEWIS BROWN are among the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 8 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Mr. Brown was selected to receive the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer Robin Wagner will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. Sadly, Mr. Brown passed away in January of 2011. His award will be accepted by his long-time colleague and friend, Albert Wolsky, who was the recipient of the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the casting of Tony and Emmy Award nominee Jeffrey DeMunn as Willy Loman in the Globe's upcoming revival of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. DeMunn currently stars as Dale in the hit AMC TV series 'The Walking Dead' and was nominated for a Tony Award for his harrowing performance in the Broadway production of K2. The complete cast will be announced at a later date. Directed by Pam MacKinnon, Death of a Salesman will run in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre Jan. 22 - Feb. 27. Preview performances run Jan. 22 - Jan. 26. It is with deep regret and sadness that the Los Angeles Philharmonic must announce the passing of our beloved friend and colleague Ernest Fleischmann. Ernest died surrounded by his family last evening, Sunday June 13, in his Los Angeles home after a long illness at the age of 85.
