Seattle Theatre Group Presents SHEAR MADNESS, 5/31
The Seattle Theatre Group recently announced that SHEAR MADNESS, a play by Paul Pörtner, as adapted by Bruce Jordan and Marilyn Abrams, is hitting the road! Set in a unisex hairstyling salon that is the scene of a wacky murder, SHEAR MADNESS is America's hilarious whodunit where the audience gets to solve the crime.
The longest running play in American theatre history will cut loose in Seattle, WA at the Moore Theatre for a limited engagement May 31-June 7, 2012. The cast of the Seattle engagement is as follows: Michael Baldwin stars as the eccentric salon owner, Tony Whitcomb. Mary Ann Conk portrays the role of wacky hairstylist Barbara DeMarco and Patrick Noonan leads the detective team as Nick Rossetti. Timothy Goodwin stars as Mikey Thomas, Nick's awkward sidekick. Rounding out the cast are salon customers Lisa McMillan as the wealthy Mrs. Shubert and Joe Ditmyer as Eddie Lawrence.
Filled with up-to-the-minute spontaneous humor referencing current events, popular culture, and local news, SHEAR MADNESS has played tens of thousands of performances and drawn over 9.6 million audience members worldwide into its uproarious mystery.
