For one night only TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's rehearsal space will shimmer with the glow of the Vegas strip as theatre supporters will be dazzled by its own version of this party hotspot. Incorporating all that Las Vegas has to offer from one-of-a-kind shopping, to luxurious food, fabulous entertainment, and a touch of Lady Luck, BeDazzled participants can savor America's Playground without the hassle of waiting for an available gaming table, flagging down a bartender, or boarding a plane. Food, drinks, auctions, and entertainment await on this special night, when what happens in Vegas stays on the Peninsula. For tickets ($185-$350 for individuals and $3,000 to $5,000 for VIP lounges) visit https://theatreworks.org/special-events/bedazzled/ or call (650) 463-7112.

BeDazzled, a casual, fun event planned by the TheatreWorks staff, takes the theatre company enthusiasts on a tour that of all that the Capital of Second Chances has to offer in one night: world-class hotels, fine dining and unique cocktails, exceptional shopping, spectacular entertainment, and the thrill of risk.

The VIP lounges for groups of 10 will be transformed into Vegas hotels. This includes a variety of personalization such as the naming of the hotel, custom décor, and swag. Entertainment for the night will be provided by some of TheatreWorks' beloved and popular actors and singers performing a 45-minute astounding and hilarious cabaret.

As Las Vegas is known for its buffets and high-end eats, BeDazzled-goers will experience marvelous food at a Vegas style buffet in a cocktail party atmosphere, and can "shop the Strip" with a silent auction. Silent auction items include a Private Prep Party for Hershey Felder, Beethoven that includes a group tour and private demonstrations at San Jose's Beethoven Institute, Michael Kors leather items for men, Stanford University athletics tickets, theme baskets filled with goodies representing the 2017/2018 TheatreWorks Productions, autographed sports and theatre memorabilia, and freshly baked cookies delivered each month.

Helming the creative, raucous, and animated live auction and a chance to risk it all, is TheatreWorks' own Managing Director Phil Santora who will auction off exciting items such as a trip to Denmark for the international premiere of The Prince of Egypt, the opportunity to attend casting calls in New York with TheatreWorks' Associate Artistic Director Leslie Martinson, a behind-the-scenes Broadway package, and trips to exotic getaways.

With some 100,000 patrons per year, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has captured a national reputation for artistic innovation and integrity, often presenting Bay Area theatregoers with their first look at acclaimed musicals, comedies, and dramas, directed by award-winning local and guest directors, and performed by professional actors cast locally and from across the country. A home for artists developing new works, it was at TheatreWorks that Memphis, the 2010 Tony Award-winning musical that played on Broadway for three years before embarking on a 19-month national tour, was first workshopped and received its world premiere. It also enjoyed an extended run on London's West End, where it captured two Olivier Awards.
