One of "the world's oldest living promising young playwrights," Bing Ringling's 844th script is finally about to be produced, bringing Bing dreams of being, well, rich and famous. A surreal musical comedy, Rich and Famous is part vaudeville, part absurd, and an entirely funny romp through the perils of being a successful artist, by playwright John Guare, the genius who also wrote The House of Blue Leaves and Six Degrees of Separation.

The Dragon Theatre in Downtown Redford City, California (2120 Broadway Street at the intersection of Broadway and Theatre Way) will be putting on RICH AND FAMOUS, directed and produced by Meredith Hagedorn, designed by Jason Arias, sound by Jonathan Covey lighting by Jeff Swan, and costumes by Lamoria Solomon. Lucinda Dobson, Tom Gough, and Rob Talbot will star in the production.

From tonight, October 11th - November 3rd, 2013, on Thursdays to Saturdays at 8 pm (doors at 7:30 pm)with a Sunday matinee at 2 pm (doors at 1:30 pm).
