Russ Lorenson, crooner Bay Area cabaret favorite, returns to The Rrazz Room in the Hotel Nikko, 222 Mason St., San Francisco, for a late night show, June 6 at 10:30 PM. The show, called After Hours, features special guest Amanda King as well. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at 866 468 3399 or at www.therrazzroom.com

Nominated for a 2007 MAC Award by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs, Russ Lorenson's passion for the stage started as a youngster, with a performing career that began at age seven in his home town of Philadelphia. Lorenson has appeared in award winning musicals and with theater companies throughout the US and has toured Europe and the US with Karen Mason, Andrea Marcovicci and Eartha Kitt.

Making her Rrazz Room debut, Amanda King is San Francisco's own "Jazz Chanteuse," who relishes performing little known gems of the 30's and 40's as well as Great American Songbook standards. A vibrant and lively performer, Amanda has appeared at venues around the Bay Area and was recently featured as a guest soloist with the prestigious San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, in a program of Gershwin favorites. Last year she also received rave reviews as the lead in Duke Ellington's one and only (and rarely performed) jazz opera, "Queenie Pie" at the Oakland Opera Theatre.
