THREE LITTLE PIGS Opens at Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater Today, 5/2

The Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater in Balboa Park has announced its May 2012 schedule, which includes THE THREE LITTLE PIGS and GOLDILOCKS & THE THREE LITTLE BUNNIES.

Today, MAY 2nd TO MAY 6th and MAY 9th to MAY 13th the theatre presents THE THREE LITTLE PIGS
(and other stories).

About the show: "Hurray! The three little pigs defeat the big bad wolf and he goes away hungry. His luck goes from bad to worse as he searches for a free meal. Hand Puppets Millie Patterson's Weaver's Tales."

On MAY 16th to MAY 20th the theatre presents GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE LITTLE BUNNIES.

About the show: "Goldilocks is lost and stumble into the home of the three little bunnies. But she thinks it is the house of the three bears......and the bunnies think that Goldilocks is a bear. The fun happens when Papa bunny meets the big, bad Goldilocks. During the story Goldilocks talks about cold/hot and hard/soft. Perfect for all ages. Full Stage Marionette Production. Big Joe Productions."

On MAY 23rd to May 28th and MAY 30th to JUNE 3rd (3 Shows Labor Day, Monday, May 28th), the theatre presents TWO FROG STORIES AND A SPIDER SONG.

About the show"'I'm a wide mouth frog and I eat flies' says the frog in this classic story. In Princess Elena's Golden Ball, the frog finds Princess Elena's ball in the well, but the dog gets all the credit. Have fun watching what happens to the golden ball after the dog takes it and leaves a baseball in its place. Hand Puppets Eva Kvaas, Theatre Kids Workshop."

All shows take place on WED, THURS, FRIDAY at 10AM & 11;30AM, and on SAT/SUN at 11pm, 1pm & 2:30pm.

ADMISSION is $5 with SENIORS/MILITARY $4 and CHILDREN UNDER TWO ARE FREE!
