On August 18-20, 2016 a new dance festival will launch in Salt Lake City. New Century Dance Project, the brain-child of Los Angeles-based choreographer and teacher Francisco Gella (RDT dancer 1996-1998), brings together professional dancers and companies from Utah and beyond to share their expertise and artistic excellence with young aspiring dancers training for their future.

The festival will culminate with a unique performance that features both dancers and local companies. The closing festival performance will be at the University of Utah's Hayes Christensen Theatre on Saturday evening August 20 at 7:00 pm. Companies include Utah's own Repertory Dance Theatre, Ballet West II, SALT Contemporary Dance, BYU Contemporary Dance Ensemble, Creative Arts Academy, Center Stage Performing Arts, as well as some of the finest youth companies from across the United States, including Bunker Dance Center's Nevada Youth Dance Company, The Dance Studio of Fresno, and Columbia City Jazz Company.

New Century Dance Project is being produced by Creative Arts Academy, and supported by Repertory Dance Theatre. For festival details, concert tickets, and passes to the concert after-party, and to register for master classes/workshops, please go to https://newcenturydanceproject.org .

Concert tickets are $10/student and $15/non-student, and after-party tickets purchases in advance are $10/person.
