An immersive and interactive dance-theatre experience that shifts between the nightlife and home lives of four friends as they avoid loneliness amid the crowd

You is a unique evening of dance-theatre that spans many physical and emotional landscapes from infectious rhythmic intricacy to delicate personal experiences. The work follows four individuals in their public and private lives as they navigate friendship, love and loneliness within a community that is driven by the infectious beats and rhythms of the dance club.

The Salt Lake Tribune listed a previous, student version of the show as one of "Utah's arts standout's" and this professional staging is proving to far exceed its predecessor. One of its most distinct aspects is that it is immersive. The audience is in among the action, co-existing with the performers in the large black box space, often literally becoming a part of the show.

From dancing at the club, to intimate interactions with the main characters, there are many opportunities to be immersed into the lives of these individuals and this unique community. You will provide a memorable experience for all, from the passive observer to the active participant.

Please read below for further information regarding the unique experience You will offer:

Letter to the audience: "Welcome to You. As our guest, please make yourself at home. Wander, be nosy, open drawers, thumb through diaries. The more curious you are, the more you will discover, just be sure to put things back the way you found them. You will enter a?nightclub, but the environment and point of focus will change around you frequently. Any space not occupied is available to you, providing you do not impede the performers. Feel free to sit on any of the chairs or furniture when not ?in use, just be aware that you will eventually need to yield them to the performers. As seating is limited, we ask that priority be given to those of need. Your experience will be most heightened if hands are free so travel light and take advantage of our complimentary coat/bag check upon entrance to the club."
