Pioneer Theatre Company presents HONOR KILLING, the final installment of PTC's new play reading series, Play-By-Play. HONOR KILLING by Sarah Bierstock runs March 11 and 12, 2016. Guest artist Pam Berlin directs.

Allisyn Davis, an American reporter for the New York Times, heads to Pakistan to cover the "honor killing" of a young woman. Denied entrance but armed with the most current technology, she conducts her investigation remotely from Dubai. Through a series of cultural collisions, startling interviews and dangerous encounters she learns the horrifying details of the murder, which causes her to re-examine a traumatic event from her own past.

SARAH BIERSTOCK (Playwright) made her playwriting debut with Honor Killing in the John Drew Theater Lab at Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY in February 2015.

HONOR KILLING plays Friday and Saturday, 8:00 p.m. Saturday matinee, 2:00 p.m. at The Babcock Theatre, on the Lower Level of the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre 300 South 1400 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84112.
