Jillian Harris, co-host of Love It or List It Too on HGTV and former bachelorette on ABC's The Bachelorette, will share interior design advice during her seminars on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11 at the January Salt Lake Home Show. Harris will discuss the best ways to tie a space together naturally and cost effectively.

"I want Home Show guests to understand how to combat the struggle and urge to design a home solely based on popular trends. People should be able to walk into your space and feel pieces of your personality and past experience within the design. The home should be a place we connect to and a place that tells our story. It's time we forget the rules and the fads and focus on the most important form of inspiration-you."

Prior to her television appearance on ABC's The Bachelorette, Harris was making a name for herself in the design world. Harris spent years working closely with influential designers and quickly developed her own design style and knowledge. Following The Bachelorette, Harris was offered a position on the design team of Extreme Makeover Home Edition, which eventually lead to her current co-hosting and head designer position on HGTV's Love It or List It Too.

Harris takes the Design Stage at the January Home Show on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.

The Salt Lake Home Show also welcomes Todd Wilbur, cookbook author of Top Secret Recipes, to share his secrets to some of America's favorite restaurant recipes. With more than 1,100 successfully cloned recipes down, Wilbur will demonstrate the easiest ways to recreate favorite recipes at home on The Kitchen Stage on Friday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 11 at noon and 4 p.m.

In addition to Jillian Harris appearing on the Design Stage and Todd Wilbur on The Kitchen stage, there will be a variety of local home improvement, garden, and cooking experts hosting seminars throughout the entire weekend, beginning Friday, Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m.
