Tonight the curtain was raised on the Zions Bank 2017-2018 Broadway at the Eccles season which includes the long-anticipated Utah debut of Hamilton.

Season ticket renewals begin Monday, March 13 at 9am online and in person {610 E. South Temple, M-F 9am-5pm} or by fax {801-355-2236}. Phones {801-355-5502} open Wednesday, March 15 at 9am.

Due to overwhelming demand, new subscriptions are not available at this time. Patrons are encouraged to join the Broadway at the Eccles waitlist for updated information about season tickets as well as dates, details and news about the sale of individual tickets:

The 6-show season package includes - four-time Tony Award® winning An American In Paris/ the smash-hit musical The Bodyguard, the hilarious Something Rotten! Rogers & Hammerstein's The Sound of Music/ Hamilton - An American Musical and the spectacular new production of The Phantom of the Opera.

The Utah debut of Elf, the 30th anniversary edition of A Kurt Bestor Christmas, Mannheim Steamroller, Riverdance - the 20th Anniversary World Tour and Jersey Boys will all visit the Eccles Theater during the 2017-2018 season as special Add­ On engagements.

The Bodyguard - The Musical. Former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker. Hamilton - An American Musical. Hamilton is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail,choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical is produced by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman and The Public Theater.

The Phantom of the Opera - The Spectacular New Production
Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera will come to Salt Lake City as part of a brand new North American tour. Hailed by critics as 11bigger and better than ever before," this production boasts many exciting special effects including the show's legendary chandelier, new scenic and lighting designs, new staging and choreography. The beloved story and thrilling score will be performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making this PHANTOM one of the largest productions now on tour.
