Park City Institute's traditional New Year's Eve show features the penultimate master of ceremonies Alan Cumming, in his one-man show, "Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs," December 31 at 8:00 PM at the Eccles Center in Park City.

The Scottish and American actor is perhaps best known for his Tony award-winning role in Broadway's "Cabaret" as well as his portrayal of the shady spin doctor/campaign manager Eli Gould, on CBS's "The Good Wife." And he's stormed the silver screen - gracing Bond films along the way.

"This will be a memorable New Year's Eve performance," says PCI Executive Director Teri Orr. "He has taken this show all over the world and sold out Carnegie Hall earlier this year-you won't want to be anywhere but at the Eccles on December 31."

Cumming premiered the show in 2015 at New York's legendary Cafe Carlyle and then toured it throughout the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. Earlier this year, he made his sold out, solo debut at Carnegie Hall. The New York Times has called Cumming "a formidable all-around entertainer on the level of Hugh Jackman or his friend and sometime mentor Liza Minelli...he is completely at home onstage."

Tickets to Alan Cumming SINGS SAPPY SONGS AND TELLS STORIES are available at ecclescenter.org, or by calling the box office at 435-655-3114. Prices for New Year's Eve: Sapphire section $49, Ruby section $109, VIP Amethyst Tickets are $189, including entrance to the Park City Institute's intimate and festive New Year's Eve after-party.
