Winner of The Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Broadway’s Tony Award for Best Play, this powerful and moving adaptation by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, is set during the Holocaust, and based on the actual diary of an exuberant, lyrically gifted, young Jewish girl who comes of age while hiding from the Nazis in an overcrowded attic with her family. During their confinement, Anne records their fear, hope, laughter, and grief.
