This acclaimed Broadway musical features the bawdy humor of Harvey Fierstein and the melodic genius of Jerry Herman. The original Broadway production won 6 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book and inspired the hit film "The Birdcage," starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. The recent 2010 Broadway revival, starring Kelsey Grammer was nominated for 11 Tony Awards and won Best Revival of a Musical.

The story focuses on a gay couple: Georges, the manager of a Saint-Tropez nightclub featuring drag entertainment, and Albin, his romantic partner and star attraction, and the farcical adventures that ensue when Georges's son, Jean-Michel, brings home his fiancée's ultra-conservative parents to meet them.

La Cage is an outrageously funny and touching story of family values, love, diversity, and acceptance.
