The Wilbury Theatre Group's Board of Directors is proud to announce The Wilbury Group's new home and performance space at 40 Sonoma Court in the Olneyville neighborhood of Providence. The 6500 square foot space is nearing completion as a permanent home and performance space for the Wilbury Group and will be the location for the first show of our 2017/18 season, Harold Pinter's The Caretaker.

"This is an exciting new chapter for Wilbury," said Wilbury Board President Andrew Stigler. "The large and dynamic space perfectly suits our needs, and I'm confident audiences will be impressed from the moment they walk in the front door. 40 Sonoma is a real find."

"Our audiences know that for years we have been searching for the perfect place for our long term home," said Wilbury Founder and Artistic Director Josh Short. "For months the board and I have been quietly working with the city and local business and community leaders throughout Olneyville to find that home and it's thanks to them and their commitment to us that we have found this beautiful, flexible, high-ceilinged space that is perfect for the work that we do. We couldn't be more excited to be making our return to Olneyville, and we look forward to growing our role in the community as the season progresses."

Performances for our 2017/18 season will take place in our new home at 40 Sonoma Court, with an exclusive sneak preview Open House event for our Members and biggest supporters to be announced in the coming weeks.
