Come out of the heat and into the cool of The Gamm Theatre this weekend, where students of Gamm Summer Intensive are showcasing their talents in 3 performances of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

One of the most loved of the Bard's comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream brings together young idealistic lovers and magical beings in an enchanted forest. Caught up in a whirlwind of mistaken identity, magic and passion, the characters prove "the course of true love never did run smooth."

GSI's production, set in Celtic Ireland, is the culmination of 3 weeks of "extreme" theater training for high schools students from across the state under the direction of Gamm Education Director Steve Kidd.

The performances, co-directed by Steve Kidd , Gamm intern Hannah Lennett, and frequent Gamm actor Tom Gleadow, take place at The Gamm as follows:

Friday, July 16 at 7 p.m.
Saturday, July 17 at 7 p.m.
Sunday, July 18 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $5 at the door.

For more information, please contact Steve Kidd at Steve Kidd at 401-723-4266 ext. 17 or steve@gammtheatre.org.
