Don White
Friday, November 29th | 8pm
Tickets $15 advance | $20 at door
Theatre 82 | 82 Rolfe Square

There is no one word description for what Don White does. He has survived and thrived for twenty years, bringing his audiences to laughter and tears in his live performances, studio recordings and on the printed page. He is a storyteller-comedian-author-troubadour-folk singer-songwriter. He is a walking challenge to the phrase "file under"; best to just sort him under "Don White." White's arc as a writer and performer has taken him from his industrial hometown of Lynn, Ma across the country as hitchhiker, through Boston's Comedy Clubs and coffeehouses, and onto the stage with greats like Christine Lavin, Arlo Guthrie, Taj Mahal, Ritche Havens, Patty Larkin, Bill Morrissey, Tom Rush, and Loudon Wainright III. At every point, White has been the ultimate observer, infusing his work with his experiences as a husband, father, seeker and joker. Theatre 82 is located at 82 Rolfe Square Cranston, RI 02910. For more information and tickets, call 401.490.9475 or visit www.artists-exchange.org.

Tarbox Ramblers
Saturday, November 30th | 8pm
Tickets $10 advance | $14 at door
Theatre 82 | 82 Rolfe Square

The Tarbox Ramblers is a quartet, with string bass, guitar, fiddle and drums. The band's sound melds Appalachian, traditional blues and gospel music in exciting and unexpected arrangements. We typically play some very old songs - St. James Infirmary, Jack of Diamonds, The Cuckoo, to name a few - as well as many of our own compositions. The group's live show has a joyous feel to it. The Tarbox Ramblers' albums, on the Rounder label, have received favorable reviews from Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, All Things Considered and more. Theatre 82 is located at 82 Rolfe Square Cranston, RI 02910. For more information and tickets, call 401.490.9475 or visit www.artists-exchange.org.
