PPAC Reveals 'RHODE ISLAND ILLUSIONIST' Contest Winner

Matt Roberts of West Warwick, RI was declared the winner of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC)'s "Seeking a Great Rhode Island Illusionist" competition on Thursday, January 8, 2015.

Mr. Roberts and other finalists performed their best parlour magic tricks in front of a panel of five judges from the magic community, a local media celebrity, and a representative from PPAC. Friends and family of the finalists also attended.

Along with being named a "Great Rhode Island Illusionist," Mr. Roberts won tickets to see a performance of THE ILLUSIONISTS - WITNESS THE IMPOSSIBLE with a guest, complimentary dinner, and the opportunity to meet one of the Illusionists.

THE ILLUSIONISTS - WITNESS THE IMPOSSIBLE performs at PPAC January 16 - 18, 2015. THE ILLUSIONISTS is sponsored by Navigant Credit Union and is part of the 2014/2015 Encore Series.

Tickets are $68 - $38; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice.

Box Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 10A to 5P; Saturday, 10A to 2P and at least two hours prior to all curtain times.
